 Children

Have you seen in increase in difficult behaviors since COVID?  Is your child having more meltdowns and you cannot seem to get them to calm down?  Is your child having problems with peers at school?

Play is a child’s first language. Children need play now more than ever in this digital age.  While technology has its place, children are losing the ability to imagine and play and create from their own minds.  Imaginary play is so important for children.  It helps them work through problems, come up with solutions and have the ability to problem solve.  Parents’ part is also important in this process in learning how to deal with meltdowns, regulate their children and give them what they need in the moment.  Tami Ward, LMHC has over 20 years of helping children and families set up routines, help children problem solve and learn how to self-soothe.
